These replace the ugly (to me) stock white grill letters. The face is a matt black which looks nice, and then you light them up and they really stand out. Requires removing the grill, “permanently” removing the stock letters (by cutting the swages on the back), securing the new letters with push-on retainers (tool included), then the time consuming part… routing and securing the wires, and finally hooking up to power & ground. I used a hot melt gluegun and was able to hide the wiring well behind the grill. I used the included fuse tap to hookup power inside the underhood fusebox on an ignition hot fuse, the only issue is running the wire out of the box as the cover is designed to be water tight, but I got it to work w/o pinching the red wire. The ground I connected to the -battery terminal. All in all about 1.5 hours total. Totally worth it!On second thought don’t get these, makes my Bronco more unique (evil wink)
