I chose this umbrella since it has no tilt option, as for me, umbrellas always break in the tilt spot of the pole.I love the little lights! And it has held up well, even in wind. The canopy is nice and thick so we can still sit under it if it's a light rain and not get wet.The only thing I did not like was the color. I chose "coffee" which should be dark brown and mine is more of a rust color. But we decided to keep it.I read some bad reviews but we have not had those experiences and I hope we do not!Nice lights. Big umbrella covers a lot.Really like this 11ft patio umbrella . Sturdy in higher winds due lack of tilt mechanism. On downside: 1. top umbrella solar panel mounting plastic bracket was cracked right from box . 2 . Light switch is installed upside down ( no big deal ) . Anyway ,i like this umbrella and sturdy frame construction .Easy to assemble, solar lights already working. Bought no tilt umbrella bonus 11ft. Will not bend or break eg. Tilting umbrellas. Happy with purchase.did not have the tilt mechanism which kept failing in the wind. This seems sturdy. We bought this after our 3rd (THIRD!!) $250 umbrella broke in half at the tilt point in one season. We live in regular old suburbia surrounded by other houses, fences, or trees so it’s not like it’s the open plains or wind tunnel central. Out of frustration and desperation I bought this based solely on the fact that it doesn’t have a tilt bracket. It had been amazing and waaaaay better than more expensive umbrellas. Great sun coverage and sturdy. Also, it has not broken in half which might seem like the bare minimum requirement, but you’d be surprised. Big fans here, would buy again (but also thrilled we haven’t had to).I only had one issue and that was the box was obviously dropped on the top edge which ended up breaking the solar cell off of where it connects to the umbrellaThe seller asked if I could attempt to repair it and I was able to get it done.Works fine now and the seller did give me a small discount to compensate me for trying to fix it.They fall apart within a couple weeks. The open / close levers are cheap and the ratchet feature stopped working within a couple days. Haven't had them a month and 2 have completely fallen apart. Not broken . Simply fell apart. For $100 dollars a PC . They should have at least last 2 seasons. Not just 2 weeks.
