The install is fairly simple and only a 3mm hex key/allen wrench/allen key is required. There a lot of YouTube tutorial videos out there on “how to” install handlebar grips, so check them out if needed. I may have small hands but these grips made riding more comfortable on the hands. My hands fatigue less than with the previous grips I was using on my bike. The reason was because the previous grips were thinner and it put more pressure on my palms when holding them with a firm grip. Now I don’t have that problem with these Corki lock-on grips. These grips have the same circumference as the lock-on rings. It makes gripping on them more comfortable and less applied effort required. Note that experiences may very from person to person. These grips may be comfortable to me while for others not so much. Aesthetic wise, the grips look nice with the honeycomb/hexagonal pattern. The rubbery portion of the grips are indeed black. There other grips out there that the color black looks more like a faded black. The only thing that bothered me was the Corki logo on the lock on rings. The font size and color were not so aesthetically pleasing to my eyes. Would be nice if the Corki logo was only on the end caps or on the side of the lock rings. Maybe a ghost printed Corki logo with a bit smaller font would be of service on the lock on rings.I like them. I wanted grips that wouldn't move or twist. Here are my observations: These are easy to install - clamps, secure having clamps on both ends of grip, thicker OD then regular grips, firmer than grips that came with bike, I feel the clamps edge when riding - hard and "square" edge - not bad just different. if they were longer might be better. can't say anything on durability as only a few rides so far. The best thing is they haven't moved or slid inward. (I only tightened them enough so they would not spin; they seem solid)These are comfortable grips. The installation was fairly straight forward. Each end of the grip has a small clamp that is tightened with a screw. The grips with the end clamps were slightly wider than the stock grips which required me to move the shifter and brake levers. They feel good in both wet and dry environments.I love these. I'm glad I purchased them. They flow well with my red and black color scheme. Simple to put on. Slide em on, tighten the little screw, and pop in the end cap. I've been on a dozen long rides and these are very comfy.Haven't used them on the trail yet but they seem durable and solid. There is zero cushion to these however. The rubber is very firm.Easy replacement from my stock grips the red color definitely shows the dirt more.I wish someone like Corki made a combination locking-grip-bar-end that is affordable and functional.Hey Germans! I am not spending $80 on grips so get off your high horse!Locks work great, no slipping at all and you don't have to tighten them to the point of failure or enough to damage a carbon bar. It's a hard rubber, not soft, which is fine if you like it that way, just be aware that there isn't much vibration dampening. Just as good as some of the $30 grips out there, so quite a bargain at only $10. Put them on a Specialized cyclocross bike that I converted to a flat bar. They're a good compromise between the traditional bar tape and mountain grips. They are the great for price and good for light use.100% satisfiedSuperbe?
